Preparative HPLC System
The systems's wide flow rate range (from the 333
and 334 Pumps) allows for both semi-preparative
and preparative separations. High pumping power
accommodates a wide range of preparative column
sizes. All injection modules feature a continuous
flow path design. The system can accommodate large
injection volumes with minimal sample waste and
carryover. The new rinse station system incorporates
a flowing jet wash and allows the use of up to
two different rinse solvents. |

845ZPREP™ System
Gilson’s new 845ZPREP™ System features
Gilson’s innovative injection technique
of the 845Z Injection Module paired with the new
RV 700-112 valve. The RV 700-112 valve’s
large 0.040" ID ports accommodate flow rates
up to 150 mL/min for semiprep to prep applications.
The fast injection switching time of <200 ms
provides optimal injection results by preventing
pressure spikes from the valve switching. The
novel approach to injection of the 845ZPREP™
Injection Module moves the injection valve to
the sample; sample is aspirated directly into
the injection valve, removing the need for an
injection port. This technique provides decreased
maintenance, faster injection cycle times and
allows collection of early-eluting peaks, while
reducing carryover.
When paired
with the Low-Mount Fraction Collection Valve,
the 845ZPREP System provides separate injection
and fraction collection fluid paths, eliminating
contamination of fractions from the injection
process. The 845ZPREP System is an ideal choice
for semipreparative to preparative injection and
fraction collection providing fast, low carryover
purification capabilities. |

cLC™ System
Gilson’s cLC System is a complete chromatography
system capable of automating the purification
of compounds using both normal-phase and reverse-phase
columns. The cLC System also has the ability to
accommodate various detection modes including
UV/Vis, ELSD, MS or RI. Additional analytical
components are also integrated into the cLC System,
enabling automated on-line evaluation of the collected
fractions for purity and recovery. |

Phase Extraction |
| Gilson, Inc. offers the
broadest range of automated Solid Phase Extraction
instrumentation in the market. Whatever your requirements
for throughput and sample size, our SPE product
line provides a solution - from smaller sample processing
(one sample at a time) to higher sample throughput
(up to eight samples at a time). Gilson’s
range of SPE solutions automates and optimizes recovery
and precision, ensuring accurate and precise sample
preparation results. The full range of column dimensions
(1–6 mL), including the 96-well format, is
accommodated within the layout of the instruments.
Graphically designed, drag-and-drop software makes
method development and sample processing simple
- in addition to facilitating 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
and other electronic record management regulations. |

GX-271 ASPEC™
Whether your application is pharmaceutical, clinical,
forensic, or environmental, SPE has become the
technique of choice for sample cleanup, sample
prep, and trace analyte enrichment due to its
inherent versatility, selectivity, speed and low
solvent usage. Designed with today’s laboratory
in mind, the GX-271 ASPEC™ has large cartridge
capacity while minimizing its linear bench space
footprint. System pressure is constantly monitored
by a pressure sensing module to provide error
handling for over pressurization as well as to
monitor real-time cartridge pressures. Carryover
and cross-contamination concerns are minimized
with the use of Gilson’s revolutionary jet
wash rinse stations. The GX-271 ASPEC combines
the throughput and reliability to run unattended
making this instrument an ideal choice for SPE,
sample prep, sample clean up and GPC / SPE applications. |
|
|

GX-274 ASPEC™
Maximize efficiency and throughput with the unattended,
parallel solid phase extraction processing of
samples via Gilson’s GX-274 ASPEC™.
It’s as easy as placing your samples on
the instrument, inserting SPE cartridges in the
mobile racks, and filling solvent reservoirs.
Then, create your sample list with the powerful
TRILUTION® LH software and press start...it’s
that easy. The GX-274 ASPEC is a higher throughput
four-probe instrument capable of processing up
to 4 samples in parallel to increase both throughput
and the efficiency of your cartridge-based applications.
Based on positive pressure elution, this instrument
processes up to four samples in a single step
with an innovative and proven sealing cap technology,
where each cartridge is sealed, run, and monitored
individually. The two 406 Dual Syringe Pumps allow
the user to transfer liquids, process up to four
samples in parallel, and to monitor pressure on
each fluid path individually.

Automated GX-271 GPC Clean-up System
Automate post-extraction clean-up of interfering
substances from environmental samples, food products
and animal tissue by Gel Permeation Chromatography
(GPC) prior to analysis by GC, GC/MS, HPLC or
LC/MS. Failure to remove these interfering compounds
can cause poor analytical results, shorten column
life and increase analytical downtime.
The Automated GX-271 GPC Clean-up System provides
an affordable solution for laboratories performing
residue analysis of complex matrices such as fatty
foods, soils, sludge, animal and plant tissue.
• The system features a Direct Injection
Module and a fraction collection valve located
on the Z-arm, increasing efficiency by reducing
sample carryover and post valve dead volume.
• The Automated GPC system is controlled
with TRILUTION® LC Software, a user-friendly,
easy-to-use, flexible program that was specifically
designed to meet the laboratory needs. The software
features pre-programmed methods specific to GPC
post-extraction clean-up processes.
• Gilson GPC Clean-up Systems meet clean-up
guidelines set forth by the USEPA, USFDA, USDA,
USGS, ISO, CFIA, AOAC International and European
Union (EN 1528, EN 12393, S19) requirements.

chromatography (GPC) clean-up systems are an ideal
solution for post-extraction clean-up of interfering
substances from environmental samples, food products
and animal tissue, prior to analysis by GC, GC/MS,
HPLC or LC/MS. Failure to remove these interfering
compounds can cause poor analytical results, shorten
column life and increase analytical downtime.
• Bench space-efficient system incorporating
a stackable modular design.
• System coordinates the elution and collection
to user-defined parameters.
